Where you park decides the job
Hinckley is an old hosiery market town, and the housing shows it. The tight Victorian streets in the middle of town sit very differently from Burbage and the modern estates on the edge. For a home charger, the question that matters most is simple: can you park off the street, and how far is that from your fuse board. Most homes here are one of three types.
The town-centre terraces
The Victorian terraces in the middle of Hinckley front straight onto the pavement, with no drive and no front garden. There's nowhere to put a charger off the street. The older semis

Burbage and the modern estates on the edge of Hinckley are the easiest of the lot. A drive, a newer fuse board, and a short cable run. Because a home like this has its own off-street parking, the grant usually isn't on offer, but the job itself is quick.

What actually gets fitted
A home charger is proper electrical work, not a plug-in gadget. It has to be wired in and signed off to the safety rules.
Almost every electric car in the UK uses a Type 2 plug, so that's what we fit once we've checked your car. It's proper wiring that has to be done and certified by a qualified electrician, which is what we are. When we're done, we sign the install off and hand you the paperwork.
