Can you get finance for solar panels?
Yes, finance is available if it suits you. We can introduce you to a finance provider through an FCA-regulated credit broker, Phoenix Financial Consultants, so you can spread the cost rather than pay it all up front, subject to the usual status and credit checks. We are not a lender, and we will not push finance on you.
The way it works is straightforward: we are an introducer, not the lender. If you want to spread the cost, we put you in touch with Phoenix Financial Consultants, an FCA-regulated credit broker, who arrange finance from their panel of lenders. Any agreement is between you and the lender, and it is subject to status and the usual credit checks.
Finance is simply there as an option, not the default. Some people prefer to pay outright; others would rather keep their savings and pay monthly while the system is already cutting their bills. Neither is the "right" answer, it depends on your circumstances.
Worth knowing on price: residential solar currently carries 0% VAT until 31 March 2027, so that saving applies to the cost whether you pay up front or over time.
