What happens at a free solar assessment?

We come to your home, look properly at your roof and how you use electricity, and then give you a written quote for what your home actually needs. It is genuinely free, there is nothing to pay for the visit, and you decide in your own time afterwards.

On the day, we look at your roof inside and out, check the orientation and any shading through the day, and see where a battery or an EV charger could go if you want them. We take photos of the roof, the meter and the fuse board as we go, so we can design the system accurately afterwards. We also talk through how and when you use power now, and where it is heading, an EV, a heat pump or a growing household, because that, more than anything, decides whether solar is worth it for you and what size makes sense.

Afterwards you get a written quote for the system we would actually recommend, with the reasoning behind it, so you can see why it is sized the way it is rather than taking it on trust. You take that away and decide in your own time.

The reason we work this way is simple: the whole point of Apex is to be the opposite of the high-pressure, today-only-price approach that gives this trade a bad name. We will not pressure you or hand you a countdown timer. If solar or a battery does not stack up for your home, we will tell you that too, because we would rather lose the job than fit something you do not need.
